Terms & Conditions
General terms of sale for digital products (AGB)
1. Provider and Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of digital products made through this website. The contract is concluded with:
Hauke SteinbachEppendorfer Stieg 1
22299 Hamburg
Germany
E-Mail: mail@haukesteinbach.de
2. Products
Steinbach Instruments sells digital products: software instruments and sample libraries, delivered exclusively as downloads. The specific scope, format, and system requirements of each product are described on its product page. No physical goods are shipped.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products on this website does not constitute a binding offer. By completing the checkout process (payment via our payment provider Stripe), you make a binding offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed and the download is made available to you.
The contract language is English. The text of the contract is not stored by us beyond the purchase record; these terms are available on this page at any time.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are total prices in Euro (EUR).
In accordance with § 19 UStG (German small business regulation / Kleinunternehmerregelung), no VAT is charged and none is shown.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Your payment details are handled exclusively by Stripe and never reach this website.
5. Delivery and Customer Account
After successful payment, the product is made available for download immediately. Downloads are tied to the e-mail address used at checkout: sign in on the account page with that address to access your products. Purchased products remain available for repeated download in your account.
6. License
With full payment you receive a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, unlimited in time, to install and use the purchased product on your own devices for the production of music and audio, including commercial productions.
Not permitted are, in particular:
- reselling, renting out, sublicensing, or otherwise passing on the product, the installer, or your download access;
- distributing the included samples individually or as part of another sample library, sound set, or competing product;
- making the product available to third parties, including via file-sharing platforms.
The instruments documented in the products remain the property of their respective owners; all trademarks are used solely to identify the sampled instruments.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the withdrawal instructions.
The download is made available immediately after payment. This does not affect your right of withdrawal: you keep the full 14-day withdrawal period. To withdraw, a short e-mail to mail@haukesteinbach.de is sufficient.
8. Warranty and Liability
The statutory warranty rights for digital products apply. In the event of defects, please contact mail@haukesteinbach.de.
I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, I am liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
9. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
I am neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
